Day 1: Dar-es-Salaam – Selous National Park, Tanzania

It is 4 times the total size of the Serengeti and covers over 5% of total area of Tanzania and is actually larger than the entire size of Switzerland.

Day 2: Explore Selous National Park
lion in selousFollowing breakfast you have several alternatives of activities among which are a Walking Safari, Game drive or even a Boat Safari. There are big elephant populations within the park. Estimated to 70% about 60 000 of the total elephant population in Tanzania.
Other commonly seen animals are: hippos, about 40 000 dwell in the river-systems, deminishing numbers of the rare black rhinos, big buffalo herds, more than 160 000, 5 000 lion as well as the wild dogs.
