Biking in Moshi, Kilimanjaro

Why not take a day to experience Moshi on bicycle? It is a great way to adjust to jet lag, acclimatize to the altitude or spend a day between your safari and Kilimanjaro trek. This half-day tour starts in the morning at the Ascend Tanzania office where you will choose your bike and be fitted with a bicycle helmet.

On the tour you will see how the locals shop by exploring the local market, explore a nearby coffee plantation and head to a local bar where you can try the local brew (mbege). Afterwards, we will have lunch at a local restaurant where you can sample some of the local foods like Ugali (maize) and nyama (local meat dish). The tour will end at one of the local handicraft shops where you can take your time learning about the local artists and their craft
