Day 1: Kampala - Kibale National Park
Our guide or representative will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning after your breakfast. He will brief you about the trip and the long journey you are about to start before you drive to Fort Portal district via Mubende. You will make stops at Nakayima tree shrine believed to be hosting the spirit of Nakayima if you are interested.
You will also have other stops at different fascinating places along the way; you will have a lunch break before you continue to Fort Portal where Kibale national park is located and this is where you will have your dinner and an overnight at either,
Budget – Chimps Nest Camp
Mid-range – Rujuna guest house or Ruwenzori view Guest.
Luxury – Primates Lodge or Ndali lodge or Mountains of the Moon Lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking.
You will have to wake up early in the morning, have your breakfast at the lodge and report for briefing before 8am. It will be an exciting early morning walk through Kibale forest as you search for the chimpanzees and other primates with the help of a ranger. These are interesting animals to see, very organized and very much more like human being; reason why they are called man’s closest cousin. Later in the afternoon hours, you will have time to go for a nature walk to Bigodi wetland where you will see a variety of birds, other primates that live around this swampy area. You will later on return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at either:

Day 3: Back to Kampala
After breakfast in the morning, your will visit the Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru and here you can see the stalactites and stalagmites. This place attracts lots of tourists who would wish to see that rock that people claim to have milk come out of it. You also have nature walk around the trees before lunch.
