5 Days Hell's Gate Lake Nakuru Masai Mara safari

A safari to enjoy the Great rift valley scenery and topography, birds and wild life of Hell's Gate Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara

Day 1: Nairobi- Naivasha

We pick you up from your hotel or JKIA Nairobi in the morning and proceed to Lake Naivasha in time for lunch. Enroute we stop at the Great Rift Valley escarpment to enjoy the stunning views of the lift valley and Mt. Longonot across. After lunch we visit the scenic Hells Gate National Park for a game drive to see giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, gazelles etc. Here you can walk or even hire bike at extra cost to cycle around the park. Overnight at your lodge (LD)

Day 2: Nakuru National Park

After early breakfast and equipped with a picnic lunch we drive to Lake Nakuru National for a whole day game drive up to 16.00 hours. We then drive back to your lodge at Lake Naivasha for dinner and overnight. Lake Nakuru National Park is famous because of its high population of flamingos, sometimes millions, and other bird species. This is a sky blue soda lake turned pinky by the flamingos viewed from a distance. Lake Nakuru National park is also a haven for endangered species like the Rothschild Giraffe, the black and white rhinos. Other wild game to be seen here include lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons. (BLD)

Day 3 – Masai Mara

After early breakfast, we depart for Masai Mara to arrive at your lodge time for lunch. We have afternoon game drive starting 16.00hours followed by dinner and overnight at your lodge (BLD).

Day 4: Masai Mara

Today we spend the day exploring the park in search of the big 5 with early morning game drive and afternoon game drive. Optional balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost or a visit to a Masai Boma (village) also at extra cost. The Mara offers an amazing abundance of wildlife all year round. You can easily spot lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many species of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that the spectacular annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra occurs from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture during summer. On the trail of the wildebeest are the predators of the savanna - lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. Actually you will most likely come across with this once in a lifetime experience with luck. Overnight at your lodge (BLD)

Day 5: Maasai Mara –Nairobi

Depending on your flight arrangement early morning game drives followed by breakfast then we depart for Nairobi and drop off over lunch hour at your hotel or JKIA in time for your home bound flight (B).

• Transport by private safari minibus or 4x4 land cruiser with a pop up roof for best game viewing and photography
• Services of a professional English speaking driver/ tour guide
• All Game park entrance fees

• Airport pickup and drop off after safari
