3 Days Amboseli Tsavo West Nairobi

Departs Nairobi at 7.00 a.m.

Africa Natural Tours safari to Amboseli National Park at the foot of the snow capped Mt Kilimanjaro and the expansive Tsavo west of the man eater’s fame.

Day1: Nairobi/Amboseli.

Pick up from your hotel at 7.00am and drive to Amboseli National Park at the foot of the snowcapped Mt Kilimanjaro in time for lunch in your hotel.  After lunch we have afternoon game drive with Mt. Kilimanjaro in the backdrop. Amboseli (392 sq km) is not a big park but supported by swamp vegetation it harbors elephants, buffaloes, hippos, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, gazelles, wildebeests, warthogs, zebras, ostriches and Masai giraffes in the background of the magnificent snow caped Mt. Kilimanjaro. The waters from melted snow find their way down the mountain under lava flows and surface on the Amboseli plains in form of swamps.  Overnight at Kibo Safari Camp (LD)

Day2: Amboseli/Tsavo West.

Early morning drives to Tsavo West National Park. We visit Chyulu Hills and stop-over at Mzima Springs where from an underwater observation chamber it is literally possible to watch a hippo or crocodile swim along the floor of this crystal clear spring. The park is famous for its large herds of elephants.  Overnight at your lodge (BLD)

Day3: Tsavo West/Nairobi.

Morning game drive permits further exploration of this great park.  After breakfast we drive back to Nairobi and drop off at your hotel by lunch hour (B).

• Transport by private safari minibus or 4x4 land cruisers with a pop up roof for best game viewing and photography.
