The Kilimanjaro climb Machame Route 7 Days
is the best trekking option for the experienced and non experienced
trekkers. There is no prior deep knowledge required to tackle this route.
What is required is your physical and psychological readiness that you will
smash Kilimanjaro by any means. We usually encourage our climbers by asking
this question to them: "If the 10 & 65 years old managed to climb
Kilimanjaro up to 5895 meters, why not you?” Our guides are ready to make your

Kilimanjaro Climb Machame Route 7 Days Itinerary
Day 0: Arrival day in Moshi by flight through Kilimanjaro
International Airport or by Arusha airport or by buses from Dar Es
Salaam/Nairobi and other cities.
We
will be waiting for you at the airport or anywhere else agreed. Briefing will
be done by your trekking guides in your hotel after arrival.
Day 1: Machame Gate to Machame Camp (Full Board)
The
climb starts from Machame gate (1830 meters) to Machame Hut (3,000 meters):
It takes 6-7 hours walking.
Day 2: Machame Camp to Shira Camp
Climbing
Kilimanjaro tours from Machame Hut to Shira Camp (3,840m): 4-6 hours walking.
Day 3: Shira Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
The
distance is 10 kilometers, climbing time 6.5 to 8 hours.
Day 4: Barafu Camp to Karanga Camp
Barafu
Camp to Karanga Camp covers 5 kilometers and it takes up to 5 hours to get at
the camping site.
Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
From
Karanga Camping area to Barafu Camp site 4.6 kilometers and 4-5 hours on
walking.
Day 6: Barafu Camp to Summit then to Mweka Hut.
Day 6: Barafu Camp to Summit then to Mweka Hut.
We
will wake up in the midnight together with you (head lamps are mostly helpful
for this hike). Barafu Camp to Summit to Mweka Hut elevation (15,300ft to
19,345ft and down to 10,000ft). Distance is 5 kilometers ascending / 12
kilometers descending, climbing duration: 7-8 hours ascending / 4-6 hours
descending.
Day 7: Mweka Hut to Mweka Gate to Moshi in your personal hotel to proceed with other timetable. If you still have time we can prepare a day tour to Arusha national park for you to enjoy the natural wildlife with Africa Natural Tours for Safari, Kilimanjaro climbing, Zanzibar beaches and cultural tours or any other Tanzania Tours.
Day 7: Mweka Hut to Mweka Gate to Moshi in your personal hotel to proceed with other timetable. If you still have time we can prepare a day tour to Arusha national park for you to enjoy the natural wildlife with Africa Natural Tours for Safari, Kilimanjaro climbing, Zanzibar beaches and cultural tours or any other Tanzania Tours.
