Day
1.
Arrival date, you will be received and get transferred to your Hotel for
dinner and overnight.
Day
2.
After breakfast, you will depart to Tarangire with lunch boxes, afternoon
& evening game drive.
The park consist of natural vegetation mainly of Acacia woodland and giant
African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river
and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania's dry
season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the
largest elephant herds in Africa.
This
African National Park is also home to three rare species of animals - the
Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings.
Dinner
and overnight at campsite.
Day
3.
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater with lunch box, have full
day game drive in the crater.
The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife
areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including
some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year round
water supply and fodder, the crater supports a vast variety of animals,
which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo,
and giant African elephants.
Another
big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of
predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the
ever-elusive leopard. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.
Late afternoon drive to Nainokanoka campsite for the arrangements of
Donkeys, Masai guide.
Dinner
and overnight at campsite.
Day
4.
After breakfast, walk from Nainokanoka to Empakai point (7.30 hrs trek,
picnic lunch). Here, overlooking the great Rift Valley to the west, the
views are breathtaking. To the east, Mt. Meru and Mt. Kilimanjaro loom in
the distance while Lake Natron and the volcanic cones of Lengai and
Karamasi can be seen below to the north.
Dinner
and overnight at Embakai Crater Rim campsite.
Day
5.
After breakfast, start trekking walk from Empakai to Naiyobi, a friendly
Maasai village and continue on to campsite (7.30 hrs trek, picnic lunch).
Dinner
and overnight at the Acacia tree campsite.
Day 6.
After breakfast walk from Naiyobi to Lake Natron (7.30 hrs trek,
picnic lunch). Lake Natron is the only known breeding ground for East
Africa's flamingoes.
