Day 1 – Lake Manyara National Park
Departure
at 08:30am from Moshi and drive 130km to Lake Manyara National Park in time for
lunch in your hotel followed by afternoon game drive. Lake Manyara attractions
include its birdlife, its elusive black manned tree-climbing lions, giraffes,
buffaloes, baboons, ostrich, a big population of hippos and a scenic setting
below the western escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Overnight at your lodge.
Day 2 -Ngorongoro Crater
Early
breakfast at 6.00 am then descend in to Ngorongoro Crater with packed picnic
lunch to enjoy its high wildlife concentration and close range viewing.
Ngorongoro Crater’s attractions include lions, elephants, buffaloes,
wildebeest, Thompson’s gazelles, zebras, reedbucks and flamingoes wading in the
soda lake at the base of the crater. After lunch continue game viewing in the
afternoon as you ascend the crater and back to Arusha. Drop off at your hotel
by 5pm. End of safari.

-Transport by 4x4 land cruiser with a pop up roof for best game viewing and photography

-Torch, sunglasses, suntan lotion, insect repellent/spray but not mosquito coils
-Camera, memory cards, binoculars, maps, guide-books
-Toiletries e.g. tooth brush, paste etc.
