3 Days Masai Mara camping safari
Departs Every Day.
The
Masai Mara is Kenya’s most famous and popular game reserve. Masai Mara is
really an extension of the Northern Serengeti eco system in Tanzania. Masai
Mara is magical and you have the best opportunity to see all the big five and
many other species. Masai Mara is where the great wildebeest migration
(declared the ‘7th Wonder of the World’) occurs mainly in July, August,
September and October of each year. We pitch tent in a campsite bordering the
Masai Mara game reserve in the dispersal area
Day 1 - Masai Mara
Pick
up at your hotel within the city centre in the morning and depart at 8.30hours
driving down the Escarpment via the floor of the Great Rift Valley, to Masai
Mara game reserve. Lunch enroute at Narok. Overnight in a campsite.
Day 2 - Masai Mara.
We
explore Masai Mara’s amazingly high concentration of game (throughout the year)
from the back of your tour vehicle in the morning and the afternoon and with
the help of your experienced professional tour guide to spot the animals. The
Masai Mara Game Reserve is 1510sq km of open rolling grasslands dotted with the
acacia trees harboring lions, leopards, cheetah, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, massai
giraffes, hippos, black rhinos, spotted hyenas many species of antelopes. The
climax is the annual great wildebeest migration in July, August and September.
