A safari to experience the city of Nairobi Masai Mara Lake Nakuru Lake Naivasha and Amboseli –the plains on the foot of the scenic Mt. Kilimanjaro

Day1:  Nairobi/JKIA
We pick you up upon arrival in the morning and transfer you to your hotel. We then visit David Sheldrake orphanage at 11am to see the orphaned baby elephants and rhinos. After lunch we visit the Giraffe Centre and Karen Blixen Museum and then return to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel (BB)

Day2: Nairobi/Masai Mara
After breakfast we depart for Masai Mara at 0730a.m via the Escarpment with a brief stopover to enjoy the stunning view of the floor of the Great Rift Valley and Mt. Longonot to reach your lodge in time for lunch. After lunch we have afternoon game drive. Overnight at your campsite LD)

Day3 & 4: Masai Mara:
Two days to experience the Masai Mara magic!  Kenya’s premier reserve is famed for its astounding concentration of wildlife  and harboring lions, leopards, cheetah, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, Maasai giraffes, hippos, black rhinos, spotted hyenas  many species of antelopes. We visit the Mara River armed with picnic lunch to look for the migration crossing and see crocodiles and hippos. Overnight at your campsite (BLD)
Day5: Masai Mara/Nakuru
After early breakfast we depart for Nakuru to reach your hotel in time for lunch. After lunch we have afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park which is a seasonal home for millions of pink flamingos and many other species of birds. Lake Nakuru is also a rhino sanctuary for both black and white rhinos as well as the Rothschild giraffe.  In addition it harbors lions, warthogs, waterbucks, buffaloes, hippo and many other animals.  Overnight at your campsite (BLD).

Day6: Nakuru/Naivasha.
After early breakfast we proceed to Lake Naivasha in time for lunch at your hotel. Have afternoon tour of Hells Gate National Park. “Hell's Gate National Park is a remarkable quarter of the Great Rift Valley. Spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub clad volcanoes and belching plumes of geothermal steam make it one of the most atmospheric Parks in Africa. In addition to the bio-diversity that includes raptors, visitors can enjoy (optional) walking, mountain biking, rock climbing and a natural spa”. Overnight at your campsite (BLD)

Day7: Naivasha/ Amboseli
After early breakfast we depart for Amboseli to reach your hotel in time for lunch followed by afternoon game drive with Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background. Overnight at a campsite (BLD)

Day8: Amboseli
Day spent viewing game in the park. Amboseli (392 sq km) is not a big park but supported by swamp vegetation it harbors elephants, buffaloes, hippos, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, gazelles, wildebeests, warthogs, zebras, ostriches and Masai giraffes in the background of the magnificent snow caped Mt. Kilimanjaro. The waters from melted snow find their way down the mountain under lava flows and surface on the Amboseli plains in form of swamps.  Overnight at a campsite (BLD)

Day9:18/10/2017 – Amboseli/Tsavo West
After breakfast we depart for Nairobi and drop off at JKIA in time for your home bound Flight (B)
